I am new to the tribe and wondering what everyone else is farming first and second what everyone who has barn animals is doing to keep them cool in the summer heat. It gets to the 120s here and I have rabbits and pigs in the barn. I have heard all kinds of suggestions none of which work for me thus far so if anyone else has them I am all ears

Mon, May 10, 2004 - 10:47 AMGetting them out of the barn would be essential, unless you have misters set up. But the best is anywhere under and around trees. You must have a cottonwood grove, yes? And of course an endless supply of cold water, fruit and fresh greens.
